It's Ok To Get Dirty with Breeze!

Whew, have we been have a busy time this school holiday!

I've been relishing the late mornings and the opportunity to do what I like best: bringing the kids out all everywhere! My husband looks at my schedule and shudders, but I honestly would much rather be traipsing around all over managing two kids having fun than be stuck at home constantly breaking up fights and dealing with mess. My true aim is to be a Don't-Stay-At-Home-Mum, you see.

Not forgetting the fact that a bonus about being out and about is that everyone is nice and tired by the time bedtime rolls round. That's the plan anyway. There've been days where "everyone" is really just me and that… really doesn't go that well.

Anyway, we'll start at the beginning, shall we?

We were down at Expo for SmartKids Asia over the weekend 15-17 March and had a lot of fun checking out the fair. There was lots to do and see, and buy too! We signed up for a couple of trials and tried out a few more activities that I hope to share about in the coming weeks.

One event which we were invited to was the Breeze's Today I Am roadshow. If your kids like to get dirty with hands-on activities, well, this is one for you! First up for Noey was Paint Ping Pong, where, yes, he attempted to hit a ping pong ball dipped in paint against the card on the wall to colour in the word "Breeze". He did his best but his aim isn't his strong suit!

Then he moved on to something that was more up his alley -- activity #2 was chocolate fondue.

With biscuits and marshmallows and his own cup of chocolate, I think he would have been quite happy hanging around the table the whole day if I hadn't moved him. Which I did, of course. On to activity #3, which incidentally, was Noey's favourite: making playdough!

He managed to measure out most of the ingredients and got some help with the mixing, then was perfectly happy just getting right in there with his hands.

I think his favourite part was rolling out the dough and using the cookie cutter available to cut out shapes.

We cut out a whole bunch of shapes which Noey then got to take home.

I was glad that he actually managed to stay rather clean, through it all. Didn't need to buy home that bottle of Breeze to take out any stains!

There are also 4 costumes available which the children can dress up in and have their pictures taken. Upload these into the gallery in Breeze's "Today I Am" Facebook app and get Breeze sample packs plus stand a chance to win some prizes.

The Breeze Today I Am road show will making it's way to three other locations around the island from now till 21 April 2013 so you might want to check it out if you (or rather your kids) are interested in getting some hands-on fun. Here are the roadshow dates:

18-24 March -- Bukit Panjang Plaza
1-7 April -- Nex Serangoon
15-21 April -- IMM Jurong East

On Saturday 23 March, there will also be a special magic show at 3.30pm during the roadshow so you might want to look out for that if you're heading down. Thanks for hosting us, Breeze!
